Ms. Simon, a shareholder, practices trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts, concentrating her practice in employment (non-competition agreements, ERISA and employee benefits), insurance coverage, products liability, complex business/commercial disputes and civil rights matters. She has an extensive experience counseling employees and employers on employment contracts, performance appraisals and severance issues.

She has extensive experience in discrimination and employment law, for both employers and employees from inception through appeal, including actions under Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act (AD), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD), the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law. She also specializes in employment, taxation, and estate issues relating to non-profits.

After receiving her law degree from Rutgers Law School (Camden), where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Law Journal, she served as a law clerk to Judge John F. Gerry of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Simon obtained her LLM in Taxation in December 2006 from Temple University and a Certificate in Employee Benefit Law in May 2006.

She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and holds a B.A. with honors in History, from the Mary Washington College.

Ms. Simon also has an active pro bono practice, representing clients on behalf of the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Victim Services in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, providing legal services for abused women and children. She has volunteered as a counsel to several non-profit organizations, including Philadelphia Soccer Club and Educating Children for Parenting. In addition, Ms. Simon is on the Board of Educating Communities for Parenting, which manages parenting programs in the Philadelphia public schools, provides programs for pregnant teenagers and works with incarcerated fathers to teach parenting skills. Further, Ms. Simon is a member of the program committee of Leadership Montgomery County, an educational program to teach leadership skills run by the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.

A member of the bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, she has been certified as a mediator by Mediation and Conciliation Services of Montgomery County, PA. A recipient of an ABA award for advancement of the Administration of Justice and Service to the Profession, Ms. Simon has been selected by judges and attorneys throughout Pennsylvania as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
